Our Goals This Year |
This year in science we will be covering a lot of curriculum to prepare students to take the 8th grade Science STAAR. Students will refresh their memory on biology, they will learn the incredible world of chemistry, they will become more familiar with physics, they will understand how features on Earth are formed through movement in our mantle, they will discover parts of the Universe many never even realized were out there, they will learn how to read a weather map, and will understand how we, as humans, affect our environment and impact or oceans. This knowledge will all tie together to help students be better prepared to pass their Science STAAR test!

How Will We Get There? |
Through hard work and dedication in the classroom and at home, students will gain the knowledge they need to be successful in 8th grade. Students will be responsible for keeping up with their science notebooks, their homework, and coming in for tutoring when they need extra help.
